DON'T RUSH IT



We both graduated in the year 2017 and served in the same year. Surprisingly, when I saw him last year, "he don hammer." He gently parked his new BMW beside me and greeted me wholeheartedly.

Tolu is a nice guy, he was so happy to see me and I was happy to see him too. But part of me was ashamed of myself seeing him in his car and looking great while I was still maintaining my trekking method.

Seriously, it took me time to get away from the sudden depression that came over me when he departed. I was depressed not because of him but because of my life that is yet to found its place. I'm a church boy, a young writer who is yet to stand before kings and the great men of this world like Wole Soyinka, Emeka Nobis, Eno Sam, Dr. Myles Munroe and host of others that are known with this skills.

Yesterday, I heard a shocking news of my life as it was reported that my old friend was arrested by the DSS and accused of fraud and theft. And if found guilty, he may spends the rest of his life in jail.

I didn't expect this report but immediately I remembered the statement of a friend to my broadcast yesterday. She said, "I can't measure my success with another person's yardstick. I may not know the hidden processes this person has undergone or the struggles. So I've learned to focus on myself instead, focus on my process and believe that one day, my results will be announced."

I was depressed and angry seeing my friend making it because I am still struggling to have a steady income. That's the situation many of us found ourselves when we are through with our programs at school. Even now.

You see, if you don't want to die young or die before your time, you should learn to focus on yourself and pay the price now that you are still young.

True success takes time because its involve system that will last you and your generation. Don't rush to hammer, don't rush to be known; pay the price now so that you can pay any price tomorrow.

The end of those who rush usually don't last. But the end of those who pay the price to overcome the waiting periods always lead to everlasting success.

You need to pay the price now for you to overcome any financial price tomorrow. Delay gratification is the key to everlasting success.

You will end well.

Desire and Decision

It's one thing to desire, it's another thing todecide & to follow what you desire. I've wasted opportunities in the past because of that small voice whispering to me "you are not good enough", "you can't do it" "you are not qualify" and so on like that. I yielded to those voices then & let those opportunities passed me by. I would have done it was what came to my mouth later. I urge you if you desire it, it pay to go for it. Life will not give you what you want, it will give you what you decided to have & pursue. That small voice echoing "I can't" in your mind can be replaced with "I can & I will". You and your thoughts

I was minding my business one beautiful night when I heard a loud sound in my area. The transformer blew up and there was a blackout. My neighbors began to say that there would be no power supply till February. Meaning that we will not have electricity in the area for two months. Some said we were now into another power supply issue at the beginning of the year. Different people said all kind of negative statements because of what they heard and the way the power supply went off.
