IS IT WORTH IT?

After reading the pathetic story of University of Ibadan graduate that committed suicide days ago, it made me wonder if committing suicide truly worth it? The guy dropped a note that says, "He has suffered enough and regrets been a Nigerian."

The fact is that the country is truly in mess right now. Things are truly tough not even for him that committed suicide alone, but for most of us. If I begins to share my stories with you, you will even pity me. For we all have our secret pains.

He committed suicide because he can't cope with the suffering again. He forgot that:

- As you are looking for wealth now, somebody is looking for health.

He didn't remember that:

- Each time you think of not having a car, somebody just died from a car crash.

- If you are thinking about your health, somebody just died of Coronavirus.

- If you are looking for power, many has acquired and used it, and now they are powerless.

- Each time a new mansion was built, a new grave just dug below the earth for someone.

- Each time you throw away that useless food into dustbin, someone is just looking for remnant to eat.

- If you are thinking of not having money to buy that Ankara cloth, someone is out there begging for money to buy garri.

Anytime I think of these mysterious ways of life, I only laughs and thank God for what I have and hope for something better. Suicide, stealing, killing and any kinds of ungodly ways to escape suffering doesn't worth it. Because, this life that frown at you today will surely smiles back at you tomorrow.

Today maybe blur, trust me tomorrow will be bright.

Irrespective of what you are passing through now, don't lose your smile, don't think that it's only you. Many are passing through issues that they cannot even explain.

Thank God for what you have and go at your peace in Jesus name. Amen!
